In the 2022 Wimbledon final, Nick Kyrgios was not happy about one of the spectators and asked the umpire to eject her from the stadium.

During what was one of the most crucial moments of the 2022 Wimbledon final, Nick Kyrgios was understandably perturbed by a member of the crowd.

Appearing to be intoxicated, a woman in the stands was seen (and heard) to be shouting something towards the Australian.

Kyrgios did not take kindly to the interference at such a crucial moment in his first singles Grand Slam final and famously accused her of having "700 drinks".

"She's distracting me when I'm serving in a Wimbledon final. There's no other bigger occasion, you didn't believe me and then she did it again. It nearly cost me the game. Why is she still here? She's drunk out of her mind and speaking to me in the middle of a game. What's acceptable?"

After the Australian insisted she was removed from the stadium, she was taken out of the stands before returning shortly after.

However, now that the dust has settled on the SW19 final, the woman in question, 32 year-old Ania Palus, shared her point of view on what happened on Centre Court that day.

During one of the crucial moments of the 2022 Wimbledon final, Nick Kyrgios complained about one of the fans who appeared to be drunk to him. The 27-year-old Australian asked the chair umpire to remove the fan from the stadium and that also happened.

Yet, after 15 minutes and a little water break, she was able to return to watch the match. The fan was 32-year-old Ania Palus, who shared her point of view after the match.

Speaking to The Sun, the woman in question explained how she was supposedly cheering for Kyrgios despite how the Australian interpreted it:

"I wanted to show we were for him, I wanted to encourage him. I wanted to give him support. Maybe I took it too far... but I only had good intentions. It's the temperature for me, I had no hat. I'm really sorry."
