Carlos Alcaraz admitted that he would be interested in joining Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer if the two were set to play in an exhibition at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Alcaraz helped his Davis Cup team secure the top spot in Group B in Valencia after returning from New York. He won his maiden Grand Slam title in the United States and returned back home as a superstar and the new ATP World No. 1 player.

But during his time in the Spanish city, he also spoke about his sensational US Open run, his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero, as well as the possibility of playing with Nadal and Federer in a special match.

Alcaraz had to get used to answering a lot of questions in interviews. That included an interview with COPE, during which he admitted that he still hasn't fully processed what he achieved.

"We have not yet assimilated what has happened because from New York I have gone directly to the Davis Cup. I still haven't stopped to think about what I've done and what needs to be improved in the future. Arriving is complicated, staying even more."

Alcaraz also talked about his coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero. Many credit the experienced Spanish coach for the teenager's success, and the 19-year-old player is aware of how much Ferrero helped him in his career.

"Juan Carlos has been very important to me. He has experienced everything that I am experiencing now. It is easier for him to give me advice, and at the same time, this is very important."

The 19-year-old Spaniard also spoke about the possibility of joining his childhood idols, Nadal and Federer, during a special match that could take place at the Santiago Bernabeu, which is a stadium where his favorite football club, Real Madrid, plays their matches.

However, Alcaraz is also aware that, at the moment, an exhibition match between Nadal and Federer is probably more exciting than the one that he would take part in.

"I would love to play at the Bernabéu, and even more so with Rafa. But now a Rafa-Federer throws more; It would be nice to see that match. But I hope they tell me to play it, I would be delighted."
