'Hurts, But Not Last Time Something Like This Happens': Tsitsipas In Peace With Form Struggles

Stefanos Tsitsipas is not playing good tennis right now, but he's at peace with it because it's just part of being a tennis player.

The Greek player hasn't played very strong tennis lately, struggling with form in multiple events. It's been a rather disappointing year for Tsitsipas, especially after he started with an incredible run in Melbourne to reach the Australian Open final.

It's not the first time he's struggled with his form, but it seems to be the most significant struggle since he became a Top 10 player. He would have been out of the Top 10 if he didn't have that Australian Open, but it doesn't bother him too much.

He's not happy about it and is working to improve it, but he's at peace with it, as he explained in a recent ATP Tennis Radio Podcast episode.

There are always going to be moments like this, and I'm pretty sure it's not going to be the last time something like this happens. Speaking of which, yes, these last few weeks perhaps even two months haven't been that great and my level of performance hasn't been delivering up to my standards.

And I do feel it. I do feel the disappointment and I do feel the need to get better. I have been working a lot of hours on the court. We still in the time, through difficult times we grow in. And I try to see it from the from the bright side, even though it hurts a little bit.

We'll see how he does in the coming weeks as his indoor tennis has generally been really solid. He'll aim to play at the ATP Finals which he's done in years past. He actually won the event a few years ago but never came close to it again.
