Novak Djokovic will attempt to win his fourth consecutive Wimbledon title after he defeated Cameron Norrie in the semi-finals of the tournament.

The first finalist of the 2022 Wimbledon Championships was known already on Thursday as Rafael Nadal withdrew from the tournament and granted the spot in the final to Nick Kyrgios.

On Friday, Djokovic and Norrie battled for the last final spot available in the only men's singles semi-final match at this year's tournament. The experienced Serbian played more than seven times more matches at the All England Club than his opponent, but that didn't show in the first set.

Norrie managed to break his opponent's already in the opening game of the match, but his one-break advantage didn't last for too long, as Djokovic led 2-1 after three games played.

But to everyone's shock, that third game of the opening set was the last one that the 20-time Grand Slam champion won in that first set. Norrie won five games in a row to win the first set 6-2, and the British crowd was celebrating his great start.

However, all the experience of the six-time Wimbledon champion started showing in the second set. Djokovic started serving much better, and until the end of the match, he didn't face any more break points.

In the second set, he broke his opponent's serve once, and that was enough to win it 6-3. In the third set, the top seed broke Norrie's serve twice, and after winning the set 6-2 and leading 2-1 in the match, Djokovic was on his way to yet another final in London.

An opening-game break in the fourth set was enough for the Serbian player to win this match in four sets. After the slow start, Djokovic was the better player in this match to win it 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4, setting up a final meeting with Nick Kyrgios.
