Since his US Open triumph, Carlos Alcaraz struggled with injuries, but he's finally back, and he's yet to lose.

The 19-year-old entered the 2023 Argentina Open in Buenos Aires as the first-seeded, after previously withdrawing from the first major of the season. Alcaraz needed three sets against Laslo Djere in the first round, but then he dominated against Dusan Lajovic and Bernabe Zapata Miralles, and he wanted to continue his dominance also against the second-seeded Cameron Norrie in the final.

The Brit, who won 13 out of 15 matches that he played this season, also wanted to take the top prize in Buenos Aires. He defeated some clay-court specialists on his way to the final and he also wanted to follow up on his previous triumph against the Spaniard, which came in Cincinnati last year.

But Alcaraz showed his undeniable qualities in the final once again. Both players were good on their serves, but then came a period when the former world no. 1 won seven games in a row and that was the most important moment of the match.

Alcaraz won the first set 6-3 and started the second with a quick break, leading 3-0 early. Soon, the teenager was serving for the match at 5-3 in the second set.

However, for the first time in the match, he had to face break points. Norrie didn't want to lose the final without a proper fight and he broke his opponent to get back into the match.

Yet, Alcaraz showed his qualities once again and won the match 6-3, 7-5 to record fourth win over Norrie and lift his first ATP title of the season.
