Carlos Alcaraz has been named as one of the participants for the 2024 Cinch Championships Fan Day at London's Queen's Club.

An exhibition match featuring Team Great Britain versus Team International will see home players such as Cameron Norrie, Joe Salisbury, and Neal Skupski in direct confrontation against ATP stars like Alcaraz, Holger Rune, and Frances Tiafoe.

The event will be held on June 16th, which falls on the eve of the main draw commencement at the ATP 500 event in London. It has been organized to aid the LTA Tennis Foundation.

In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the tournament's official handle confirmed the aforementioned players for the event and that profits generated from Fan Day will be channeled to the LTA Tennis Foundation, which has the sole purpose of improving people's lives through tennis in the UK.

"TEAM GB vs TEAM INTERNATIONAL. Star names for the #cinchChampionships Exhibition Match! All profits from the Fan Day will go to the LTA Tennis Foundation, supporting their mission of improving lives through tennis."

The tournament has confirmed that additional players will be named and that scheduling details will be revealed very soon. In the meantime, tickets for the Queen's qualifying and the Fan Day are already on sale.

Alcaraz is the defending champion at Queen's. He won his first grass-court title last summer by beating Alex de Minaur in the final before going all the way at Wimbledon to win his second major title.

He will return for the 125th edition of the Cinch Championships and will be a massive draw for the exhibition match. Tickets for day one of the qualifying draw are sold out, and with the Fan Day exhibition fetching a minimum of £5, there won't be a spare seat.

The Spaniard will be the top seed at the tournament, which begins on June 17th, but will face stiff competition from the likes of De Minaur, Grigor Dimtirov, Holger Rune, and Ben Shelton.
