Alcaraz To Offer Fans Signed Memorabilia After Latest Business Move

Carlos Alcaraz has been contracted with one of the world's leading signed sports memorabilia companies, Icons Shop Ltd.

The company announced that they are venturing into tennis and couldn't find a more exciting player than Alcaraz, who at only 20, has become a double Grand Slam champion on the men's tour in addition to being ranked as high as World No. 1.

Icons is synonymous with being one the biggest and most authentic retailers selling football merchandise which has been signed by the players themselves. Their website, Icons.com was initially launched in 1999 to host the personal websites of the world's best football players.

But within 10 years it diversified its model and began selling signed memorabilia. These included signed football jerseys, plaques, and photo frames of the players that have been signed by the biggest football stars (current and past) such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Pele, Diego Maradona, and Neymar.

In 2010, football's governing body, FIFA, awarded Icons with the first football memorabilia license. And now through the tennis department of IMG, Icons has diversified its sporting collection to tennis by officially launching its first, exclusive signed memorabilia collection of Carlos Alcaraz.

Alcaraz undertook the session to sign a range of exclusive collections while in Murcia in early November for Icons ahead of the big announcement. These included tennis balls, framed photos from his Wimbledon triumph, and a framed Babolat racket.

"Icons is the world's leading signed memorabilia company and we are delighted to announce our move into tennis with this collection from the most exciting player in the world today."

Statement from Dan Jamieson, CEO of Icons

"We have high hopes for the signed range and high hopes for what Carlos can achieve over the coming years. We are always proud to say our items are 'Signed by the world's best', and after his triumph this summer at Wimbledon he's truly at the top of the world game."
