Carlos Alcaraz doesn't concern himself with replacing the Big Three, but instead, he enjoys tennis and transmits the joy of playing it.

Alcaraz is widely considered the biggest talent to emerge in tennis since the Big Three. Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic have dominated the sport for over two decades, attracting millions of fans around the world.

With their time on the ATP Tour coming to an end, many wanted to see successors to the Big Three, and one emerged in Alcaraz. The Spaniard is one of the most electric players on the ATP Tour, and with his achievements early on in his tennis career, many see him as the successor to the Big Three.

His achievements so far seem to back that notion up. However, he's mostly focused on himself and his own journey. That journey is currently at the Rio Open, where he's enjoying himself on the court, booking another final.

The Spaniard was obviously happy to make it to another ATP 500 final, especially after he was forced to miss the start of the season due to an injury.

"I have a special affection here in Rio. The public supported me a lot. My moments on the court in Rio were spectacular and today was proof of that."

Alcaraz has been touted as a player who will lead tennis after all members of the Big Three retire, but he's not concerned about that. He thinks that people want to see great tennis players who enjoy playing rather than one player specifically.

That's why he wants to share his joy from being on the tennis court also with the fans.

"I think people want to see joy, incredible shots. I don't think about being the player people want to see after the Big 3, I just want to be who I am and transmit joy on the court."
