Alcaraz compares his future rivalry with Sinner to rivalry between Nadal and Federer

Comparing Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner to Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer is something that has been done before, but now, also the 19-years-old Spaniard said that he thinks their rivalry can be similar.

Previously, Juan Martin Del Potro drew similarities between the youngsters and two players that lifted a total of 42 Grand Slam titles in their careers. After their sensational match at this year's US Open, the Argentinian said: "I am fascinated with the level of tennis of these children. It will be the Federer-Nadal of the next few years."

Now, also Carlos Alcaraz spoke about his rivalry with Jannik Sinner and admitted that there's a lot of respect and admiration between them. Therefore, he also compared their relationship to the one between the Spanish King of Clay and the Swiss Maestro.

"[Being compared to the big three] isn't a pressure, I enjoy playing tennis and when I enjoy it the results come. I often smile at tense moments in games, and being on the court gives me enjoyment," Carlos Alcaraz said. "I don't know how I'll compare to them, they've been here for 20 years, they've won everything and I'm only just starting."

"There's going to be a really nice rivalry with [Jannik] Sinner. Our games are worth watching, and we're good friends like Rafa [Nadal] and [Roger] Federer," Alcaraz said. "[Jannik] Sinner, [Alexander] Zverev and I could make the future Big-3."
