The 2024 Bucharest Open is a new addition to the calendar, and the ATP 250 tournament has already released its entry list.
Running from April 15th to 21st, 2024, the Bucharest Open, also called the Tiriac Open, has a spot next to other tournaments during the clay-court swing leading up to the Roland Garros.
In 2024, the tournament will be held for the first time as a Tour-level event, and the tournament managed to attract a solid field of players, even though there will be no one from the Top 10 competing at the tournament.
The highest-ranked player on the initial entry is Adrian Mannarino from France. Francisco Cerundolo will play at the tournament as well, with Tallon Griekspoor appearing among potentially seeded players, too.
Sebastian Korda will try to prove that he's one of the most talented American players on the ATP Tour, also signing up for the clay-court tournament in Romania.
2015 Roland Garros champion, Stan Wawrinka, is also among the players, who signed up to play in Bucharest, as is the 2008 French Open semi-finalist, Gael Monfils.
Many players who prefer to compete on the clay courts signed up for the tournament, such as Laslo Djere, Federico Coria, Thiago Seyboth Wild, and Mariano Navone.
The likes of Lorenzo Sonego, Miomir Kecmanovic, and Alejandro Tabilo will also play at the tournament. The full entry list for the event can be accesses below.
