As every year, the 2022 Madrid Open promises to be a great spectacle as the ATP 1000 event will take place in the Spanish capital from May 1st until May 8th with a stunning entry list full of stars.

Rafael Nadal is the 5-time champion at the Madrid Open, and the Spaniard should also take part in the 2022 edition of the tournament as he's present on the tournament's entry list.

However, the field will be packed with many other past champions, such as Novak Djokovic, who triumphed already three times in Madrid.

Another major challenger for the title in 2022 will be Alexander Zverev. German is the current champion in Madrid and triumphed twice in the last three editions and so his eyes will be on the trophy when coming to Madrid. Another 2-time champion in Madrid, Andy Murray, will also take part in the event thanks to a wild card.
