Emma Raducanu is a talented tennis player, but she's also a big motorsport fan, which she showed recently.

Since winning the 2021 US Open, Raducanu has been in a great demand of sponsors, and one of them is also Porsche. As a motorsport fan, there aren't many better sponsors for Raducanu than Porsche.

The German car manufacturer has many legendary cars in their line-up, and one of them is the Porsche 911 GT3. During the off-season, Raducanu got to enjoy this car at the Brands Hatch circuit in the United Kingdom.

Raducanu grew up in London, so Brands Hatch was only a few-minute car ride away from her home. Now, she got to enjoy driving a Porsche car around the track as a part of her collaboration with the brand.

"As Brands Hatch is my local track, I visited with my dad many times when I was younger and always enjoyed watching the races, particularly with the Porsches."
"It was great to see behind the scenes at the Carrera Cup GB earlier this year, but even then, I only saw the racing from the grandstands. So it was exciting to lap the circuit at speed today, and a real treat to try the 911 GT3."

After experiencing the Porsche 911 GT3 on the track, Raducanu was obviously thrilled by what she got to experience. Having watched races on that very track, she liked much more being on the track herself.

"I loved driving the 911 GT3, it was so much fun to drive, and I learned a lot about the testing and practice that helps build the skills of a champion driver. It was amazing to add to my memories of being a spectator here and now be driving myself. I much prefer being this side of the fence!"
"Having visited the Porsche Experience Centre Silverstone, driving at Brands Hatch is another highlight of my year. It has been interesting to meet drivers like Adam, and Mark in the summer, and learn how their human performance and preparation is adapted to the track versus mine on the tennis court."
