Young British kids at a school had an unforgettable experience after Emma Raducanu held a tennis masterclass for the pupils.
Raducanu is currently preparing for the 2023 season after a hectic 2022. Unfortunately, the year ended on a disappointing note when she had to withdraw from the Billie Jean King Cup Finals due to an injury.
That was one of the various physical issues Raducanu sustained during 2022. Her compatriot and three-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray tried to help the 20-year-old by suggesting she hire a strength and conditioning coach.
Raducanu suddenly rising to the top of women's tennis and winning more Grand Slam this year after her stunning run to the 2021 US Open was always unlikely. The young star needed time to adapt to the grueling tennis calendar.
Tennis and equality icon Billie Jean King hopes Raducanu is given the time and patience she needs to improve and reach her potential. Those words from a legend might be of some comfort to the Briton.
Raducanu's missing the Billie Jean King Cup Finals was particularly disappointing because it was held on home soil in Glasgow, but she recently took the time to support pupils at a school in Hammersmith, London.

The school was extremely grateful to Raducanu for coming to play with the kids, thanking her for putting on the masterclass, and calling it an amazing experience for the pupils who attended.
