Venus Williams won a singles match every year from 1994 until 2021, but this year, she still misses a victory which would extend her streak.

The 42-years-old American, played four matches this season so far and lost all of them. However, she succeeded in mixed doubles with Jamie Murray getting her only victory of this season. Now it seems that her season is over as on her Instagram account, Venus Williams got asked various questions and she was honest when answering.

When asked about her 2022 season, the American stated: "No plans for this year. But watch out for next year. Work on my game. Spend time with the family. Time with my teams. And time at home. It's been a while."

One of the fans also inquired about her future doubles partner after her sister, Serena Williams retired: "I think I'm retired from doubles now!" answered Venus and when asked about her sister's retirement, she wrote: "Unimaginable at first. But I've had time to prepare myself. I'm sure she will still hit with me!"
