Iga Swiatek will enter this year's Wimbledon Championships, having cemented her spot as the undisputed women's world no. 1.
She is the only player with five-digit ranking points. And despite choosing not to play any warm-up tournament, the Pole only lost a paltry 110 points for her no-show in Bad Homburg, where she was defending semifinal points.
But on the bright side, Swiatek can gain points at Wimbledon if she progresses beyond the quarterfinal stage this year. The same applies to Coco Gauff, who was eliminated at the first hurdle by Sofia Kenin 12 months ago.
The young American looks poised to keep the world number two ranking away from Aryna Sabalenka, who enters the grass-court major with question marks regarding her fitness.
Elena Rybakina's fourth spot is not in any danger for now, as is Jessica Pegula's, who completes the top five. Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova is sixth, but she could face a Top 10 exit if she is upset early on her return to SW19.
Jasmine Paolini (7th), Qinwen Zheng (8th), and Maria Sakkari (9th) have a lot to gain in terms of points from the next fortnight. Ons Jabeur rounds off the Top 10, although she must defend her runner-up points from last year to remain part of that exclusive group.
The last two warm-up tournaments before Wimbledon were won by two Russians. Daria Kasatkina ended her trophyless drought in Eastbourne by beating Leylah Fernandez. She climbs two places into 12th.
Diana Shnaider bagged the second WTA event in Bad Homburg by beating Donna Vekic in the final. The 20-year-old's second title takes her to a new career-high ranking of No. 30.
Vekic, meanwhile, soars 12 places into the Top 40 again (up to 37th). Bulgaria's Viktoriya Tomova rises to a new career-high ranking of No. 48. The 29-year-old's Top 50 breakthrough is fully deserved after reaching the Bad Homburg semifinal.
Caroline Wozniacki has rejoined the Top 100, settling at 91st. It's her best ranking since she came out of retirement last year. Paula Badosa (93rd) has also re-entered the centurion club. Both players were quarterfinalists in Bad Homburg. You can stay up to date by checking all the changes on our dedicated rankings page.
