"She can get a little bit grumpy sometimes" - Coric reveals first interaction with Serena Williams

Croatian tennis player Borna Coric had a chance to spend some time with Serena Williams recently, and he shared that she can be a bit grumpy sometimes.
Serena Williams is arguably the best female tennis player that ever lived. The list of achievements is too long to list, but there is no doubt about her being head and shoulders above the rest.
However, she’s also a bit grumpy, at least according to Coric, who had a chance to spend some time with her recently. The Croatian attended the Wilson Family dinner, which Williams also attended.
He took part in a conversation as well, as a player who uses the brand, and at one point, they talked about their interactions. Coric has been on the Tour for a very long time, and Williams joked that he didn’t interact with her in the past at all.
"I always saw Borna on tour. I think, in 2015, I was in Australia, and he was always in the gym. I always joked with him that he didn't know I existed. So he finally realized that I exist."
Coric then revealed that Williams could be a bit grumpy on the court sometimes, and he wasn’t sure if she was in the mood or not, so he wasn’t sure whether he should walk up and say hi.
"I was a little scared because, on the court, she can get a little bit grumpy sometimes. I wanted to say hi, but then I was like, maybe she's grumpy; I'm not sure if I should say hi or not."
In fairness, Williams does tend to get grumpy on the courts from time to time, so Coric’s story sounds very believable. At least now they’re on great terms and speak frequently and without any issues compared to before.
