Serena Williams and Borna Coric recently met during a Wilson Tennis Family Dinner and it featured a few funny moments.
Recently, Billie Jean King and Reilly Opelka joined Coric and Serena for dinner and a conversation of athletes who represent the racquet brand Wilson Tennis. During the conversation, an interesting interaction between the two occurred.
"I always saw Borna on tour. I think, in 2015, I was in Australia and he was always in the gym. I always joked with him that he didn't know I existed. So he finally realized that I exist," Serena Williams said.
Coric soon revealed why he "didn't know Serena existed" as he was not sure about greeting the American legend.
"I was a little scared because, on the court, she can get a little bit grumpy sometimes. I wanted to say hi, but then I was like maybe she's grumpy, I'm not sure if I should say hi or not," joked Coric.
