Running from July 31st to August 6th, the 2023 Prague Open, a WTA 250 event, will offer players $259,303 in prize money.
As one of the hard court tournaments in the latter stages of the season, the Prague Open saw multiple Czech champions over the years, and there will be some names also in 2023 that will try to add their name to the list of champions.
Barbora Krejcikova is the player who leads the entry list for the 2023 Prague Open. The Czech players will be joined by the likes of Marie Bouzkova and Linda Noskova, but also Shuai Zhang, Lin Zhu, Tatjana Maria, and Rebeka Masarova who will all take part at the tournament.
And they will all have the top prize in their eyesight, fighting for 280 WTA points for the champion and also $34,228 awarded in prize money to the player that will complete the week undefeated and emerge as a new champion in the Czech capital.
The runner-up will also be rewarded nicely at the 2023 Prague Open, as the finalist will be able to look at 180 points added to their name in the WTA Rankings as a partial achievement, and $20,226 in prize money should also help.
However, who certainly won't be happy are the first-round losers, who will get only 1 ranking point and $2,804. That significantly improves for making a second round, as those players get 30 points and $3,920.
The quarterfinalists will all get 60 points and $6,418, while the semifinalists will be awarded 110 points and $11,275. To see the full prize money and points distribution for the 2023 Prague Open, don't miss the overview below.
