Stefanos Tsitsipas gave a new insight into his relationship with Paula Badosa by mentioning a new hobby he has been doing with her help.

Tsitsipas and Badosa have been dating since June 2023, aside from a very brief time when they were split. They have not been shy about discussing their relationship and love for each other in interviews and social media posts.

Badosa has spoken about how much Tsitsipas supported her when she was out for months in 2023 with a severe back injury, to a point that he started to become affected by how much she was suffering.

In an on-court interview after beating Matteo Berrettini at the 2025 Indian Wells Open, Tsitsipas said he has been doing a lot of cooking lately and that Badosa had also started cooking for him.

"Lately a lot of cooking. I enjoy cooking. I have a lovely girlfriend that started cooking for me. I’m having a great time cooking and chatting at the same time."

The 2023 Australian Open runner-up also mentioned that small things can bring him joy in life, listing going for a walk as one of the things he likes to do when he is not playing tennis.

"These are the small things bring joy to me. I like having walks. Little sort of activities on my days off. Maybe even playing mini golf. That’s something I had in mind. I hope I can go play some mini golf. It’ll be definitely be something I wanna do."

Tsitsipas is always one of the most refreshingly honest players in the game. The 26-year-old does not shy away from describing his true feelings or discussing what he is thinking about on and off the court.

Badosa's personality is similar, making them a fascinating and entertaining couple. Tsitsipas previously confirmed that the duo are considering playing mixed doubles together at the 2025 US Open after the tournament announced a revamped format.

Tsitsipas's support of Badosa through her injury troubles in 2023 is not the only example of the two being there for each other. The Spaniard also paid tribute to his influence after winning the 2024 Citi Open in Washington, her first title in over two years.

Badosa returned the favor by showing class when Tsitsipas was experiencing a challenging period in 2024 and the opening month of 2025. After he lost in the opening round of the 2025 Australian Open to Alex Michelsen, Badosa asked the crowd to give him a round of applause in an on-court interview the next day.

Tsitsipas has come through that difficult period. The Greek won the 2025 Dubai Championships before the Indian Wells Open, overcoming Felix Auger-Aliassime in the final with a clinical display of hitting.

The ATP Greek No. 1 has not dropped a set in his opening two matches in Indian Wells and he played particularly well against Berrettini. His form has been reminiscent of what took him to three Monte Carlo Masters titles and two Grand Slam finals.

Tsitsipas will face Holger Rune for a place in the Indian Wells Open quarterfinal on Tuesday in what promises to be an exciting matchup.
