The Australian Open has been dubbed the 'Happy Slam', and Aryna Sabalenka's outfit suits the tournament's cheerful, positive vibe.

The outfits worn by all top WTA and ATP players at Grand Slams always receive attention, but that is especially true of Sabalenka, who has a love for fashion that she regularly speaks about.

That passion includes off-court outfits, with the four-time Grand Slam champion loving opportunities to get dressed up when she is not playing, considering it relaxing and a chance to experience feeling different.

However, Sabalenka also cares about what she wears on the court. That places pressure on her sponsor, Nike, to create outfits that she enjoys wearing and which succeed in matching the energy she brings to matches.

Sabalenka's look for the Australian Open contrasts sharply with Wimbledon's all-white dress code. The Belarusian will wear a combination of bright colors, matching the usually flawless weather seen in Melbourne.

The dress contains pink, orange, and black, with the pink being in the bottom left and top right corners. That is complemented by black stretching from the left to the bottom, and orange from the top to the bottom-right corner.

A pair of light blue shoes with red laces finishes the outfit. The shoes are simpler than the dress, but they are the ideal look to complete what is a bold and impressive design that will turn heads at the opening Grand Slam of 2026.

Sabalenka's outfit reveal in an Instagram video received a universally positive response from her fans, who appreciated the colorful design. Many simply expressed their approval with heart or fire emojis.

Novak Djokovic was among the other top players whose outfits for the Australian Open had already been revealed. The main draw action at the Grand Slam will begin on January 18th, and it should be superb viewing.

Aryna Sabalenka had an excellent 2025 season, including winning the US Open and finishing as the year-end world No. 1 again. However, it was also something of a missed opportunity because of the finals she lost.

She was defeated in the Australian Open final by Madison Keys, the French Open final by Coco Gauff, and the showpiece match at the WTA Finals by Elena Rybakina. That prevented her from having one of the all-time great seasons.

Interestingly, a different topic arose in her press conference after losing to Rybakina. Sabalenka is sponsored by Nike, who also works with others like Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, but she could not hide her disappointment with the brand.

The two-time Australian Open champion said 2026 would not be an exciting year for her with Nike, which might indicate the brand is planning to focus more on Alcaraz, Sinner, and other athletes in its ranks.

More positively, Sabalenka also stated that 2027 would be a better year, hinting at compelling projects without revealing what they could be at this early stage.
