Carlos Alcaraz has a reputation for being a very humble person, and there are certain things that prove that, such as a recent video from Spain.
The last time we saw Alcaraz play was back in Australia, where he was slightly disappointed with how he exited the tournament. Many expected him to go really deep, and while he did play well, ultimately, it wasn't the run that many or he, for that matter, expected.
Since then, fans haven't gotten to see him on the tennis courts, even though the Spaniard has been working hard as he should be back to the courts in a few days.
He's set to play at the Argentina Open in Buenos Aires, where he won the trophy last year. He's the defending champion, so returning this year was a logical decision.
Due to that, Alcaraz has been practicing on clay recently, and a couple of videos from practice have appeared. The most recent one showed him cleaning his lines on the clay, showing his humble nature once more.
There's something many don't know about him: the aura of normalcy, which is great to see from one of the best tennis players in the world.
He has mentioned it several times in recent months. Despite all of his success, nothing really changed in his life; he's still the same person he was before and certainly doesn't see himself as some kind of celebrity or star.
The video of him cleaning his lines certainly proves that, and he will hope that his competitive return to the ATP Tour does the same.
He'll play those in South America and then likely skip everything until the Indian Wells Open next month. He won that event, too, so he'd certainly like to defend his title if possible. Around that time, he'll also play an exhibition match against Rafael Nadal.
