Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic are set to meet on the tennis court once again, as they both signed up for the same exhibition during the off-season.

Kyrgios and Djokovic met in the final of this year's Wimbledon, and since then, many fans awaited their rematch. In 2022, the 27-year-old Australian played some of the best tennis in his career, and it seemed that he might be the only player able to stop the now 21-time Grand Slam champion from winning in the All England Club this year.

However, despite losing the first set, the experienced Serbian won and added another trophy to his collection. Since their meeting, the relationship between the two dramatically improved as Kyrgios also spoke about the "bromance" they had ahead of their clash.

Kyrgios and Djokovic were also set to have a dinner in New York City, but the former ATP World No. 1 player wasn't allowed to travel for the 2022 US Open, so that didn't happen.

The Australian previously hinted that he wants a rematch with Djokovic and that it could happen at the Serbian's home event in Belgrade.

But that has been relocated to Banja Luka in Bosna Herzegovina this year since the event in Belgrade wants to improve its facilities and attempt to become an ATP 500 event, and it is very unlikely that they will meet in Banja Luka.

However, they will meet already in December, and both date and place are known. Kyrgios will represent The Eagles at the 2022 World Tennis League, while Djokovic will play for The Falcons, and these two teams are set to meet on December 21st, 2022.

And that will be the day when this year's Wimbledon finalists will meet again for their Wimbledon rematch. Their match will be followed by a women's singles meeting between Paula Badosa and Caroline Garcia, and the mixed doubles match will see Aryna Sabalenka teaming up with Grigor Dimitrov against Bianca Andreescu and Andreas Seppi.
