Rafael Nadal is returning to the ATP Tour, and while there are many clear things about his comeback, no one knows his level.

Only a few days ago, the 22-time Grand Slam champion announced return to the tennis courts. Since then, many people spoke about his comeback, including the Spaniard himself.

Nadal announced the comeback with a short video, in which he seemed to be very confident, and he'll hit the court at the 2024 Brisbane International, an ATP 250 tournament before the Australian Open.

Many good players can challenge him there, and one interesting thing is that he can play virtually anyone, as he won't be seeded, meaning that he can meet even the first seed in the first round.

Therefore, some tend to have lower expectations when it comes to Nadal's comeback, but one person always believed in him, and believes in him also now.

Rafael Nadal's uncle, Toni Nadal, has always shown his nephew support, and even though he's not coaching him anymore, the two stay in touch, and Toni has been very supportive of the Spaniard's comeback.

Most recently, he shared Nadal's comeback video on his Instagram, and added a caption, showing support to his nephew, who will need to have a comeback, which will be "the hardest one yet" according to the Spanish coach.

"Very excited to see Rafael Nadal. compete again. Even knowing this time will be “the hardest one yet”, I have great faith in him and believe he won’t disappoint."

But Nadal is not taking things lightly. He will soon start his preparations in Kuwait, where he invited 19-year-old prodigy Arthur Fils to prepare with him.

Fils played in the final of the 2023 Next Gen ATP Finals, so he will be a good test for the Spaniard ahead of a challenging season.
