Dominic Thiem is working on his comeback to the ATP Tour when the Austrian played two very solid matches but lost in both.

First, he played at the 2022 Serbia Open against John Millman and lost in three sets. Then, Dominic Thiem moved to Portugal, where he played in the 2022 Estoril Open but crashed out in the first round against Benjamin Bonzi.

However, major improvements were seen in the Austrian's game, as it looks like he might be ready for the Roland Garros, where he had a lot of success in the past, but for now, it's about regaining his top form for Thiem.

He recently spoke about his journey, which is going to be difficult, but he's ready for that. The 2020 US open champion wants to reach his "potential" again, and he's certainly capable of that.

"I know it will take time for me to regain my perfect strength and my full potential. But I am ready to embark on this path. My aim is to do my best every day to take full advantage of my potential."

According to Thiem, he's feeling stronger every day with every practice and match that he plays. He has only a handful behind his belt right now, but the number will increase with every tournament that he enters, as it's expected that he will soon start winning matches.

"Each day I notice that I get stronger and feel better from practice to practice and now also from one match to another. It is a process that takes time. I would like to thank everyone who accompanies me on my journey! Every day I appreciate the motivating messages and comments!"

The Austrian also took time to thank all of his fans, as they are important on his journey, which is not easy, but vital in regaining back his top fitness, strength, and confidence.
