Jack Draper seems to be almost unstoppable since returning to competitive tennis, and now he dominated Holger Rune at the 2023 Ultimate Tennis Showdown Grand Final.

Jack "The Power" Draper and Holger "The Viking" Rune received wild cards for the 2023 UTS Grand Final in London, and the two players also met in Group B of the round robin stage of the tournament.

Draper, who spent a big part of the 2023 season sidelined with an injury, recently returned and won an ATP Challenger title in Bergamo, before playing the Sofia Open, where he reached his first-ever Tour-level final.

After Andrey "Rublo" Rublev managed to win both of his matches in Group A, it was also time for some Group B action at the UTS Grand Final, and home player certainly delivered.

Facing a Top 10 player was never going to be easy for the Brit, but his level was just much higher than his opponents, and it showed throughout the match, as Rune seemed to be rushing too much at times.

In the first quarter, Draper won twice as many points as his opponent, as he won the quarter 16-8, and after that, the British player increased his level even further, winning it 16-7 and getting a 2-0 advantage over his opponent.

After losing the second quarter, the Danish player voiced his displeasure with the court in London, saying it's slow and bouncy, which he couldn't get used to and find his rhythm.

He didn't manage to do that in the third quarter either, as Draper was once again the better player, and he had no problems winning the last quarter and the match, 16-8, 16-7, 17-11. After the match, the Brit stayed calm as he did during the match.

"I've got all my home support behind me, I had an injury, I had to miss Wimbledon, so I was a bit gutted because of that."
