The 2023 Ultimate Tennis Showdown is making a return this year, and one of the events will be held in Frankfurt, Germany.
From September 15th to 17th, 2023, some of the brightest ATP stars will make their way to the Süwag Energie Arena in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The reason is quite simple, the second leg of the 2023 Ultimate Tennis Showdown is set to take place and the entry list promises a lot of action.
There are some players on the entry list that will play also in Los Angeles, which is the first event of this year's UTS, but also some that won't travel to the United States and complete only the European leg in hopes to win the unique exhibition tournament.
The first three announced players were Daniil Medvedev, nicknamed The Chessmaster, and his fellow compatriot Andrey Rublev, who is using Rublo as his nickname, the same as the name of his own clothing brand.
Joining them is Nick Kyrgios, or King Kyrgios, who is one of the players that will compete also in Los Angeles. Diego Schwartzman, nicknamed El Peque, and Gael Monfils, or La Monf, are two other players that will compete at both UTS events in the United States and in Europe.
Joining them are two more players that won't compete in the first event and both have a nickname that really suits them. Benoit Paire chose to go with The Rebel, while Reilly Opelka opted for The Bot, resembling his game style which relies on big serves. One more player will be added to the line-up and it wouldn't be a surprise if it's another great showman joining the initial seven.
