The Mallorca Championships was played for the first time only last year, but players seem to like the tournament as the entry list in 2022 offers a lot of solid names.
From June 19th until 25th, some of the top players will fight for the last points prior to the 2022 Wimbledon where no points will be awarded. The 2021 champion, Daniil Medvedev will take part in the Mallorca Championships also this year as he will need to fight a strong field of players to defend the title.
Sam Querrey was the finalist last year, but he is ranked outside of the Top 100 right now, so most probably he won't take part at the event this year. Also, Adrian Mannarino, who was a semifinalist, will not participate, but another semifinalist from 2021, Pablo Carreno Busta is a part of the strong entry list.
Another Spaniard, Roberto Bautista Agut will also try to make a good result in his home country as youngsters Hubert Hurkacz, Denis Shapovalov, Sebastian Baez and Miomir Kecmanovic will also play at the 2022 Mallorca Championships.
