"They saw me on crutches and didn't say a word" - Saville disappointed by fellow colleagues

After suffering an injury at the WTA tournament in Tokyo, Daria Saville was not pleased that her colleagues gave her the cold shoulder.

In the second game of her first-round battle against Naomi Osaka, Saville suffered a knee injury. When Osaka watched her collapse on the court in anguish she hurried over to help her. After the match, she sent her a video message as well but that was not something Saville had seen from some of her other colleagues.

After confirming her injury as a torn ACL, Saville posted a statement on social media thanking people who reached out while leaving a message for those that did not.

"Thanks to everyone who has messaged me, it means the world. On the other hand, I'm sh*tlisting some of my colleagues who literally saw me today on crutches in Tokyo and didn't say a word. It cannot be hard to be a nice person" wrote Saville with her message further saying

"Just makes sad and makes me not wanna go through it all again to make a comeback on the tour and spend most of the time and seeing these people. And colleges that did take a second from their busy lives waiting for their practice or match to say something. You're in good list. I love u."
