2023 Prague Open WTA Entry List - Krejcikova, Bouzkova, Strycova & more

| by Zachary Wimer

The 2023 Prague Open promises to once again showcase the talent of one of the most successful countries in the history of the WTA Tour.

The Czech Republic has been one of the most successful countries in the Billie Jean King Cup over the years, winning 11 trophies and trailing only the United States with 18. In the past 12 years, the country won the competition six times, and it's not a surprise that it has many talented players that are featured on the entry list for the 2023 Prague Open.

Last year, Anett Kontaveit was the top seed in the tournament in Prague, however, the Estonian won't make an appearance in 2023 as she ended her career recently. Funnily, it was Marie Bouzkova who beat her in the last match. The Czech player is also the 2022 Prague Open champion, and she will defend her title in 2023.

Leading the entry list is Barbora Krejcikova, and the list of Czech players attending the tournament includes Linda Noskova and also Barbora Strycova, with many more expected to receive a wild card for the tournament.

The entry list is similar to the Poland Open in Warsaw which is held a week before, as Lin Zhu, Shuai Zhang, Tatjana Maria, Aliaksandra Sasnovich, and Rebeka Masarova will all compete in both the Polish and the Czech capital.

Joining them in Prague will be also Alize Cornet, Clara Tauson, and Sara Errani, who all know how to win. To see the full entry list for the 2023 Prague Open, be sure not to miss it below.
