WATCH: Alcaraz awards point to Otte after beautiful rally gets interrupted by umpire

Carlos Alcaraz is very keen on sportsmanship and the Spaniard made headlines a couple of times with his fair behaviour during matches.

The latest instalment of that came at Wimbledon yesterday in a match between Alcaraz and Otte. The Spaniard largely cruised in this one without any issues but in the 2nd set, there was a superb rally that was stopped by the umpire.

Otte played a drop shot that brought Alcaraz forward, he sent the ball over the net on the other side with Otte getting to it and playing it around the net for a winner. It was ruined by the umpire who taught Alcaraz's ball went wide with chair umpire Lahyani correcting it immediately.

He initially called for the point to be replayed but Alcaraz waved it off conceding the point to Otte in good sportsmanship. He received an ovation for it rightfully.
