Novak Djokovic has completed his preseason preparations ticking off the final part of his schedule in Dubai.

Djokovic, 36, has been going through the paces in the past few weeks, training in Marbella, where he owns a family mansion, and regularly visits the place when he is away from the tour. He then set up a training block in Dubai, where he invited countryman Hamad Medjedovic.

While in the UAE, Djokovic also trained young Macedonian player Kalin Ivanovski. He spent his Christmas there at Atlantis The Royal Hotel, where the 36-year-old received exceptional hospitality with his family and coaching team.

"Australia prep. @atlantistheroyal@ooresorts thank you for the kind hospitality and support during these preparations and holidays with my family and team."

The 24-time Grand Slam champion compiled all the moments during his stay there, practicing in the presence of his fitness trainer, and uploaded them to his 14 million fans on Instagram. It didn't take him long to make the short trip to Riyadh - Saudi Arabia's capital ahead of a lucrative exhibition match.

Djokovic is set to rekindle his rivalry with World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz, their last showdown of 2023. The pair have played some fabulous matches on the ATP Tour and have been invited to grace the court of the Kinddowm Arena as part of Saudi Arabia's annual sporting season.

The match between the top two ranked ATP stars follows that of the women's, which took place on Boxing Day, featuring Aryna Sabalenka and Ons Jabeur. The Belarusian emerged victorious in three sets as Djokovic watched from the stands.

The ATP World No. 1 is excited to make his maiden trip to Saudi Arabia and was thrilled to be given a warm welcome by the locals and have the chance to mingle with the fans in the Gulf Kingdom. Djokovic took charge of tennis clinics in the country with aspiring young players on his first day.
