2022 US Open ATP Entry List - Nadal, Djokovic, Medvedev, Alcaraz & more
The 2022 US Open is right behind the corner and we already know the entry list of the fourth Grand Slam of the season that will be held from August 29th until September 11th.
Last year, Daniil Medvedev won his first Grand Slam title at the US Open and he will try to defend it this year. In 2020, it was Dominic Thiem who won the event and the Austrian is one of the players that received a wild-card this year.
Rafael Nadal, Stan Wawrinka, Marin Cilic and Andy Murray also triumphed in the Flushing Meadows in the past and they will try to add another title also this year. But they will face a tough opposition as there are a lot of youngsters that would like to win their first Grand Slam title.
Stefanos Tsitsipas, Carlos Alcaraz, Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev and Felix Auger-Aliassime will all try to do that. There is one big favourite to win the event, but it's not clear if he will be able to enter the United States. It's Novak Djokovic who won the most recent Grand Slam tournament.
