Iga Swiatek could etch her name in the history books at this year's Roland Garros and will attempt to do so with a brand new outfit that she unveiled ahead of her title defense.
Swiatek's clothing sponsor, On, which is backed by retired ATP legend Roger Federer, shared the first look of its French Open collection. The collection comes in three pairs, each featuring the same colorful design.
On is also endorsed by rising USA star Ben Shelton, who will wear the newly released gear. The men's and women's tops are available in short sleeves and sleeveless (one male and one female) and are white in color but have a distinctive blurry shade of purple and peachy pink.
The shorts and skirt were plain white from the release, but Swiatek unveiled the outfit by wearing matching colors to the top. Her skirt contained the same blurred hues of purple and peachy pink.
The Pole has been in Paris for a few days following her title success in Rome. She shared on her Instagram stories that she was searching for a "friendly partner" to play doubles with ahead of the tournament.
It turned out that this was a special event organized by On to unveil Swiatek's outfit for the French Open. The world no. 1 enjoyed a casual hitting session with Hollywood actress Courtney Cox, who was the surprise guest.
The American is famous for playing Monica Geller in the NBC sitcom "Friends" for ten years (from 1994 to 2004). After the event, Swiatek and Cox shared a warm embrace in front of a large crowd of photographers and the On brand team.
Swiatek will look to chart her way into the history books at the 2024 Roland Garros. She has won the last two editions and will embark on emulating only two women to win a three-peat in the Open Era. Those were Monica Seles (1992) and Justine Henin (2007).
