2022 Birmingham Classic WTA Draw with Ostapenko, Halep, Giorgi as top seeds
The top players will congregate in the UK following the Nottingham Open for the 2022 Birmingham Classic, which will run from June 13 to June 19 and boast a star-studded draw.
Emma Raducanu, a British star, was meant to headline the event, but she was hurt in Nottingham and had to withdraw. Simona Halep, Jelena Ostapenko, and Camila Giorgi are all on the draw for the 2022 Birmingham Classic, so whomever wants to win the championship will have to beat some tough competition.
Jelena Ostapenko and Simona Halep who are the first two seeded players in Birmingham will both play against a qualifier in the first round. The third-seeded Camila Giorgi will begin against Tereza Martincova and there will be also some home players in the draw.
Harriet Dart will play against Camila Osorio in the first round as the winner could meet the second-seeded Simona Halep in the second round. Katie Boulter will begin against the seventh-seeded Alison Riske from the United States.
