WATCH: Paire rips his t-shirt and jokingly throws it at his opponent and umpire after losing in Washington

It's really hot at the 2022 Citi Open in Washington and Benoit Paire showed it after his second round match against Holger Rune.

Since 2020, Benoit Paire couldn't find his best tennis and he lost 23 out of 30 matches he played this year. In June, he announced indefinite break from tennis, but soon returned back. Later in July, the Frenchman revealed that he battles with depression.

In the first round of the 2022 Citi Open in Washington, Paire recorded one of a few victories this season when he defeated Peter Gojowczyk, 7-5, 6-4. However, in the second round, he faced the ninth-seeded Holger Rune who beat him in an hour and 18 minutes.

When the match ended, Paire showed that he really struggled with the hot weather in the capital as he ripped his t-shirt and took it off. Then, he threw it at his opponent and also the umpire, but everything was accompanied by the laughs of himself, his opponent and also the crowd.
