Stefanos Tsitsipas has triumphantly won the 2022 Mubadala World Tennis Championship, defeating Andrey Rublev in the final match with a score of 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.

The road to the final was not an easy one for either player. In the semifinals, Tsitsipas faced off against Ruud and dominated the match, winning 6-2, 6-2. On the other side of the court, Rublev faced Alcaraz and also came out on top, winning 6-2, 6-1.

Both players were unseeded at the event and so they also had to play a quarterfinal match. The Greek defeated Cameron Norrie in two sets and the Russian won against Borna Coric from Croatia.

The final match between Tsitsipas and Rublev was a highly competitive and thrilling affair. In the first set, Tsitsipas managed to secure two breaks, giving him a strong lead. However, Rublev fought back in the second set, securing one break and ultimately winning the set 4-6.

While fans expected a nail-biter in the third set, it was the exact opposite. Tsitsipas got two breaks and won the set 6-2 to secure the title in Abu Dhabi.
