One of the most favourite events among players in the ATP calendar, the Rotterdam Open will be held from February 13th through 19th and once again it offers nice rewards in terms of prize money and points.
The 2023 Rotterdam Open is an ATP 500 event held in the Rotterdam Ahoy Arena in the Netherlands. Last year, Felix Auger-Aliassime defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, and both players will compete at this event referred to as the ABN AMRO Open also this year.
Tsitsipas is coming from a final appearance at the first Grand Slam tournament of the season, and he will be surely eyeing the top prize of 500 points and 387,940€ in prize money, out of 2,074,505€ distributed to all players at the tournament.
The prize money and points distribution starts with 0 points for the first round and 16,180€. There's a lot to play for in the first match, as for the second-round appearance, players will get 45 points and earn 30,345€.
Quarterfinalists in Rotterdam will be awarded with 90 points and 56,835€ and there are a lot of contenders for the spot among the last eight. Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Holger Rune and Alexander Zverev can all do so, but they will want to push even a step further to get 180 points and 111,245€.
The biggest jump in terms of prize money and points is between the runner-up and the champion as the finalist gets only around 50% of the champion's reward in terms of prize money. The runner-up is awarded with 300 points and 208,730€, and the entry list is full of players that will try to reach that stage, such as Jannik Sinner and Hubert Hurkacz.
