2023 Lyon Open ATP Entry List - Norrie, Paul, Draper & more

| by Zachary Wimer

The 2023 Lyon Open will run from May 21st to 27th and the entry list for this ATP 250 is full of challengers for the title in the French city.

The Lyon Open, which is sometimes also referred to as the Open Parc Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Lyon due to its location, is one of the five ATP tournaments that are played in France and this one gives a chance to clay-court specialists to show their qualities.

Last year, the tournament was won by Cameron Norrie, who was the first-seeded player in the draw, and in 2023 it should be no different. But as with every year, the list of contenders will be very long, and it includes a solid mix of experience and youth.

Tommy Paul and Jack Draper will want to prove their clay-court qualities, while Pablo Carreno Busta, Francisco Cerundolo, and Sebastian Baez will want to confirm what we already know, that they like to play on the red dirt.

The list of former champions includes the likes of Stefanos Tsitsipas, Benoit Paire, Dominic Thiem, and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, but none of them will play in Lyon in 2023. On the other hand, the likes of Miomir Kecmanovic and Yoshihito Nishioka are set to make an appearance.

Veteran Richard Gasquet also signed up to play on the home soil, and Brandon Nakashima will want to end his injury-plagued season start and record a good result at this ATP 250 event. If you want to see the full entry list for the 2023 Lyon Open, be sure to check it out below.
