2023 United Cup Prize Money & Participation Fees Revealed - $15 million

| by Erik Virostko

The 2023 United Cup is a brand new ATP & WTA combined competition, and except for a star-studded line-up, it offers very rewarding prize money.

Some of the best players in the world are featured in the draw for the 2023 United Cup. Iga Swiatek, Rafael Nadal, Nick Kyrgios, Paula Badosa, Alexander Zverev, and Frances Tiafoe are just some of them.

Except for their country's pride, they will be fighting also for a very nice share of prize money. The participation fee and prize money structure is very complex.

The amount that player receives is based on their rankings as well as the fact if they are the No. 1, No.2, or No. 3 player in their team. The highest participation fee is given to the No. 1 and No. 2 players in each team.

If they are ranked between the first to tenth place in the ATP or WTA Rankings, they will receive $200,000 for participation. However, also lower-ranked players will be rewarded as they can get up to $20,000 just for participating, even if they are ranked outside of the Top 500.

Every team is also rewarded for a victory, regardless of whether the player stepped on the court. For the group-stage win, every team member receives $5,000, and this prize can climb to $23,155 for the final win.

Players are also rewarded for winning matches as the top prize for the no. 1 player of a team in the final is $251,000. The structure of the prize money at the 2023 United Cup will certainly reward everyone involved.

While the players who are ranked high will be compensated for their efforts, players ranked low will receive a significant amount for their efforts as well. This will be the case for countries like Norway, which have a high-ranked ATP player but don't have WTA players ranked as highly.
