Coco Gauff has been struggling to get to a new level with her tennis and many think it's her forehand that's holding her back. Widely considered her weakest shot, Gauff has been seeing more and more players challenge that forehand with great success. Just last week Kudermetova played every other ball on her forehand and won the match that way.

I guess for me I feel like she’s still young enough. I feel like she’s still so young that taking six months off, eight months off wouldn’t be the end of the world for her.

A supreme athlete who moves around the court with ease, Gauff only needs to unlock a few things to properly take off as a player. Being only 18 makes things really bright for her but doing it sooner rather than later makes sense.

Her serve Patrick is big, I mean when you see it live she’s got a big first serve. So if she figures out how to manage and improve the forehand all of a sudden it becomes a weapon where she serves and she can actually run around and attack with that side. It becomes a game changer.
