Emma Raducanu added another achievement to her resume that hasn't been done, as her wins against Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka featured a bagel.
The Brit has already made a name for herself as a record-breaker when she became the first-ever qualifier to win a Grand Slam title at the 2021 US Open, and on top of that, she did it without losing a single set in both qualifying and main draw.
Now, she became the first ever player in history to bagel both Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka. That's not the only distinction Raducanu achieved this year, as she bageled former US Open champion Sloane Stephens earlier in the year.
It comes as a perfect response from Raducanu to the increasing criticism she has faced leading up to her US Open title defense. The Brit revealed that sharing the court with both Williams and Azarenka was a huge honor for her, but it certainly didn't show on the tennis court.
In her first-round match at the 2022 Cincinnati Masters, the tenth seed took on the 23-time Grand Slam champion, and she started perfectly, with a break of serve, and after that, she won the opening set 6-4.
Although many expected the American to step up in the second set, the opposite happened, as Raducanu just dominated the play, winning the second set of the match 6-0.
In her second-round match against Victoria Azarenka, the Brit started by winning the opening set 6-0, making the achievement even better, as she won back-to-back sets 6-0 against Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka. After that, she finished off the match against the Belarusian, winning the second set 6-2.
The 2021 US Open champion will now face seventh seed America's Jessica Pegula to fight for a place in the quarterfinals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati.
