Roger Federer returned to practice on the courts of O2 Arena ahead of the 2022 Laver Cup and it seems that he will be ready to play.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion will be joined by Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas in Team Europe at the 2022 Laver Cup as the team led by Bjorn Borg and Thomas Enqvist will try to keep their clean sheet against Team World, that never won the competition
Yesterday, the Swiss Maestro already practiced in London as he was accompanied by Stefanos Tsitsipas and team captain Bjorn Borg during his practice session. Today, he was seen on the court with Thomas Enqvist, who is vice-captain of Team Europe.
Despite Federer looking very good on the court, his participation is still in doubt as previously revealed by his fitness trainer Pierre Paganini, who said:
"He will decide at the last moment," his longtime fitness trainer Pierre Paganini told Switzerland’s Blick. "He’s trained to have as much information as possible about whether it is a good idea or not."
