WATCH: Andrey Rublev Doing Pull-Ups In A Night Club After Winning Bastad

| by Nurein Ahmed

Just a few hours after Andrey Rublev raised aloft the Bastad Open trophy, the party well and truly commenced in Bastad's famous nightclub, Pepe's Bodega.

Rublev was in a celebratory mood inside the Pepe's Bodega, which is a popular hub for nightlife carousers in Bastad. And just as advertised on social media, they planned an ATP Final Party dubbed ''winner's night" where the champion of the ATP 250 event would be the chief guest.

Andrey Rublev emerged as the winner, beating Casper Ruud 7-6, 6-0 to take home his second title of the season. Rublev delayed his trip to Germany where he is set to play a clay-court double header in Hamburg this week. Instead, he accepted the invite.

Images and videos circulating on social media show Andrey Rublev performing pullups on the nightclub's support beam alongside the founder of Pepe's Bodega Fredrik Olofson who was busy acting as a backing vocalist for the song "We Are The Champions" in the background.

"Congrats Andrey Rublev. See you tonight at the winners party."

Rublev was very much in the thick of things before flying to Hamburg and posed for a post-celebration photo dump which Fredrik has since posted on his Instagram account. Rublev is no stranger to performing catchy stunts both on and off the court.

When he defeated Casper Ruud in the final, the pair of them shared some cordial and friendly banter in the post-match trophy presentation. The world number seven will be in action at this week's Hamburg European Open, a tournament he has won in the past, kicking off his campaign on Wednesday against Spain's Bernabe Zapata Miralles.

Rublev and Ruud could be in for another final rematch at the ATP 500 event should the seeds hold. Here is the moment Andrey Rublev was seen doing pull ups at a nightclub.
