Carlos Alcaraz was recently forced to withdraw from the 2023 Monte-Carlo Masters, but now he's back to practice.

The talented Murcian has been making significant strides in his recovery from the injuries that forced him to withdraw from the ATP Masters 1000 event in Monte Carlo. The teenager has been dealing with post-traumatic arthritis in his left hand and muscle discomfort in his spine.

However, it seems that his recovery process has been progressing remarkably well, offering hope to his fans that the Spaniard may return already in Barcelona, where he's the defending champion.

Recently, Alcaraz was spotted practicing at the Real Murcia Tennis Club, showcasing his determination to return to the game. His presence at the club has generated excitement among the spectators, as they had the opportunity to witness him in action while also attending the Challenger tournament taking place this week.

With his steady recovery, it is anticipated that Alcaraz will make a comeback during the week of April 17th at the 2023 Barcelona Open. This prestigious tournament is also expected to witness the return of the legendary Rafael Nadal, who also withdrew from the Monte Carlo event, citing his unpreparedness to compete.

As the European clay tour continues, the Madrid Open and the Masters 1000 in Rome will be the final stops before the tennis world sets its sights on Paris. In the French capital, Alcaraz, Nadal, and Djokovic will be among the top contenders vying for the second Grand Slam title of the season.
