Fritz worried Netflix TV show could paint Kyrgios as a villain

Taylor Fritz and Nick Kyrgios both took part in the Netflix TV series, but he is worried about how the final product might end up.

Fritz was followed along early in the year in Australia while Kyrgios had the spotlight on himself at Wimbledon. Neither are players that filter stuff out and Fritz is unsure how the final product might end up being.

'I don't know if I want to watch it,' said Fritz. "I'm scared of how things can be cut up. Especially because I haven't tried to filter myself at all. I've tried to just be very, very genuine. But they can cut things. 'It's like with Nick Kyrgios...they could cut it up to make Nick look such an amazing guy."

"And then they could also cut it up to make him look like the villain, which I feel like they might do just because that's how a lot of people in tennis see him - even though I think he's great for the sport," added Fritz.

The series is set to premiere early in 2023, probably in January. Many players expressed excitement about it but there are quite a few who won't be watching.
