Djokovic set to miss US Open according to his website

According to an official update on his website, Djokovic currently has no events scheduled, meaning that he will in fact miss the US Open.

It appears like Novak Djokovic won't compete at Flushing Meadows with the draw set for today. Although the Serbian is still on the entry list, it is expected that he will withdraw before the draw begins. His official website offered a current breakdown of his upcoming schedule and it states:

“There are no scheduled events at this moment"

Despite loud calls for it, the US won't change its travel regulations, which has been known for many weeks. Djokovic has received support from current players John Isner and Taylor Fritz, tennis legend John McEnroe, and U.S. Senator Rand Paul.
