The 2023 Los Cabos Open will be played from July 31st to August 5th, and the ATP 250 event offers $852,480 in prize money.

Approaching the hard-court swing in the North America, players are always glad to get some matches behind their belt in Mexico. Therefore, the Los Cabos Open, also called the Mifel Tennis Open, is one of the more popular events in the calendar.

It shows on the entry list for the 2023 Los Cabos Open, as that is packed with star names, even though the last year's champion Daniil Medvedev won't compete this year. Stefanos Tsitsipas is the highest-ranked player on the entry list, but if he wants to win the title, he'll need to defeat multiple Top 20 players along the way.

Karen Khachanov, who recently became a father for the second time, Cameron Norrie, Borna Coric, Tommy Paul, and Alex de Minaur are all set to compete at the tournament and fight for their share of $852,480.

The biggest part of that is awarded to the champion in Mexico. The winner will get 250 ATP points along with $129,660 in prize money and a solid confidence boost ahead of the last part of the season.

The runner-up at the tournament will be also rewarded nicely, as the finalist will get 150 ranking points and $75,630 in prize money. Semifinalists at the 2023 Los Cabos Open will get 90 points and $44,465.

The prize money distribution starts in the first round with $9,145, but there are no points awarded for the first-round exit. However, those that make it to the second round get 20 points and $14,960, while quarterfinalists will get 45 points and $25,765.
