The entry list for the 2023 Houston Open was released and once again, fans can expect a very solid clay-court event.
From April 3rd to 9th, players will kick off the clay-court season and one of the ATP 250 events that will take place is the 2023 Houston Open, also known as the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championship. The tournament is held at the River Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas, United States and it will welcome some of the best players in the world.
Last year, Reilly Opelka won the title in Houston, beating the likes of Nick Kyrgios and John Isner on his way to the final. Despite being a clay-court event, the Houston Open often attracts players with good serves and 2023 will be no exception.
The entry list is headlined by Frances Tiafoe, and he will be joined by compatriots Tommy Paul, John Isner, J.J. Wolf, Brandon Nakashima, Marcos Giron, and Denis Kudla.
But also other than American players will compete in Houston, which is held in the same week as the Estoril Open, which also has a solid entry list.
Cristian Garin, Tomas Martin Etcheverry, Filip Krajinovic, and Jason Kubler will all want to prove their clay-court qualities and the event in Houston is a great chance to do that. Be sure to check the full entry list below.
