Paula Badosa has shared her desire to maintain a relationship with Stefanos Tsitsipas for a lifetime.
Badosa and Tsitsipas first sparked rumours about their relationship earlier in the year as the pair started posting joint playlists and messages on Spotify. Fast forward a few months, and the tennis partners officially announced their relationship before the 2023 Stuttgart Open in June.
Even though the two tennis stars are in the early stages of their budding relationship, they appear to have a strong bond and certainly enjoy each other's company. To deepen the pair's relationship, Badosa recently explained in an interview with SDNA Newsroom that she and Tsitsipas are committed to each other long-term.
"I want to be with him as long as he wants. We have an incredible relationship, first of all, we are best friends and I think that is very important,"
" I play tennis myself, so I understand the moments and the frustration it can have, the pressure. I just want him to know that I'm here for him. In the weeks when I won't be able to play, like now, I'll be with him.”
Despite the Badosa-Tsitsipas relationship being in its early stages, the duo have been long-term admirers of each other. In particular, Badosa shared that she always had an interest in her Greek boyfriend even before they started dating earlier in 2023.
I will be honest. He's someone I've always followed, because I really liked his style of play, but I also liked his appearance because he's a very charming man,"
"Also, when I listened to his interviews I felt that he is different. But we never spoke. When we finally started talking, I discovered this amazing man, with an amazing soul. At first, I didn't expect this, but when I got to know him better I was really surprised and now I'm very happy that we are together."
