Stefanos Tsitsipas elected to be a very nice young lad during an interview following his match at the Boodles Exhibition.
Stefanos Tsitsipas earned his second win on grass this year and it came at the Boodles Exhibition against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. It was a rather sturdy performance from the Greek who bested the Spaniard in two sets.
It's a much-needed win after a few recent disappointments on grass such as the loss in Mallorca where he was the defending champion. Tsitsipas enters Wimbledon with a 2-3 record on the surface, not ideal as he faces a tricky test in Dominic Thiem in round one with a matchup against Andy Murray in the second round looming.
After the match in Stoke Poges, Tsitsipas had a post-match interview. The lovely lady who interviewed him seemed a bit flustered which prompted Tsitsipas to quickly give her a hug stealing the show and totally derailing the interview.
The hug didn't achieve what it intended as the reporter seemed even more flustered blurting out a great line leaving the whole crowd in stitches. Paula Badosa was in the stands, not far from there, and witnessed the wholesome moment, while typing on her phone after cracking a smile when Tsitsipas hugged the reporter.
The Greek noticed that bursting out laughing which further delayed the interview. Obviously, Tsitsipas and Badosa are dating and the two are currently under the spotlight, often facing questions from the media about their relationship as it's still a new thing for many tennis fans and journalists.
You can check out the full video below as Badosa and Tsitsipas turn their attention to Wimbledon in the upcoming days. The Spaniard is yet to confirm her participation at the event as Tsitsipas hinted that she will play after all, citing her determination as the reason.
