"Proud to be a part of that" - Andy Murray on Laver Cup debut

Andy Murray will be making his maiden appearance at the Laver Cup and he's proud of being able to share the court with some of his biggest rivals.

Playing in the O2 arena will be great for all members of the big four. Andy Murray, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal had some spectacular matches in the arena and they will join forces this time around to represent Team Europe.

“I’m pumped. I’ve watched the last few years on the TV and it always looked brilliant, great atmosphere, unique really." said an excited Murray who is eager to finally become part of it.

“These are guys that I competed against throughout my whole career, and it’s been extremely challenging, so I’m very much looking forward to being part of the same team as them"

said Murray who understands that this will be the final time they will get together in this manner:

"All of us are getting a bit older now. This might be one of the last opportunities we get to do this together. I’m proud to be a part of that.”
